Hello Everyone,

I have three internet routers, one is ADSL and two are simple WAN routers with 4 LAN ports each.

Now my question is i want to connect all of them to create one LAN.

ADSL router is on automatic mode. Rest two Routers have static WAN IP given by their service providers. I have two switches (5 and 16 Port).

My setup is not so big, I have only 15 users. Some are using laptop and some using desktop. Any suggestion so that i can put them on a single LAN so that they can transfer files internally also.

I also want to access all three connections (at least two simultaneously not ADSL connection). I have no additional cost to purchase additional hardware.

Any suggestion how to achieve it??

I tired it but failed. My setup was like this:

Router 1:
LAN IP-- 10.132.242.1
Sub -- 255.255.255.0

Router 2:
LAN IP -- 10.132.242.5
sub -- 255.255.255.0

I conect both routers two switch.

DHCP of router no.2 is off. I put all desktop on manual IP and assign them gateway as IP of router 2.

And all laptops are connecting through router 1.

But the Systems didn't read this setup and use whatever internet connection they want.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

i am recently working to setup ubuntu server, then it is possible to route DHCP through server. so that both Internet can be accessible?

Look in my previous organization we have Windows server 2008R2 installed with ADDC configured, i am not sure about dhcp server, there we can use two router with two WAN, both have the same ip as above and they works fine.
