Overclocking advice AMD 8 Core FX 8320 3.5GHz

Hi all,

As you can imagine, I'm a noob to overclocking. I've recently purchased a new system (see link).

I'm just wondering if I could overclock the processor, graphics card without blowing the machine up? The processor is more important to be honest, not too fussed about the graphics card.

If so, can anyone recommend software to use etc? Is my PSU decent enough?

Open the chassis and check what motherboard it has installed, pretty sure it will not be up to snuff for overclocking, CyberPC rarely uses board good enough for overclocking on their mid tier builds.

HOWEVER, more importantly.

WHY are you looking to overclock?

As far as I'm aware it's the a gigabyte GA-78lmt motherboard.

I plan on gaming on titles such as WoW, Skyrim etc.

The machine is very cooled and I'm just curious if I could maybe up to 4.0Ghz without any risks? Want to get the most out of it

I see, thanks for the help.

Would you recommend a new motherboard? Prefferably below £70?

Also are they easy to replace?
