So i recently built a Pc (yesterday) I have a MSI 970 motherboard and AMD FX8350 CPU with this I have a be quiet Dark rock pro 3 CPU cooler which was was a pain to put on. I had my PC idle over night and I looked inside this morning and I noticed that the intake fan on the cooler (I presume) isnt spinning. Is this because the CPU isn't under intense load? Have I done something wrong? I really need some help and it would be much appreciated :) I think the central fan is spinning btw :p

Solution
It's possible that you may have plugged the fan into a different fan slot than the CPU fan slot. This can cause the fan to not run correctly based on what your CPU is doing. That also may have caused serious damage to your CPU as you should NEVER run a CPU without cooling of some kind. Especially the 8300 series as they get really hot.
