I had bought this card due to a great promotion; it def. had its issues, but for the price I paid, it was a steal. Bought it for me and my son. My son used it for gaming and is quite the computer novice when it comes to hardware. So one special evening, the fan on the card was buzzing/clicking…so he decided to use his expertise and fix the issue. Needless-to-say, the fan has been removed, the wiring severed, and is in pieces. Now the card will still function, up to a certain point and then fail.

Is there any way for me to easily repair the fan? I’m having difficulty locating the suitable parts needed. Is the card failing just due to overheating? Any temporary solutions until I can afford a replacement?

Any advice or suggestions would be most helpful.

Thank you!

I was unaware of the lifetime warranty on their products. I was hesitant to go about contacting them but I do like the creative explanation. Technically my son was a rug"rat" so, it's marginal, haha. But thank you for the response and feedback. I will get a hold of XFX and see what I can get.

Have you had experience with XFX in the past? Are their support fairly easygoing, as far as product replacement?

Thank you for the feedback. I've always had issues with ebay and computer components. So I mainly utilize as a last resort. If all else fails, I'm sure I'll roll the dice and test my luck down that road.
