So recently I bought an Asus S300CA notebook and Kingston Hyperx3k ssd 480gb. What i did is install the SSD on the notebook, I now regret and feel like i should use the ssd in my gaming pc. I have a samsung 840 evo in my gaming pc and it has windows on it. My problem right now is I want to get rid of windows in my kingston ssd so i can install it in my gaming pc, But i dont have a cd drive or cd drive built it in my laptop. So it there anyway to get rid of win8 on my kingston ssd using my notebook or gaming pc?

Solution
You have the OS installed on the 840 EVO in the desktop, right?
And you want to put the Kingston SSD in the desktop as well
But the Kingston already has an OS on it, right?

No problem.

Just ensure that the EVO is the only thing in the boot sequence
Power off
Connect the Kingston
Power up
Go into Disk Management, and delete all partitions on that Kingston
Format the resulting space and give it a drive letter.
Done.

What drive will you use in the notebook?

Get a windows 8 cd key viewer program from the internet. Then, once you have your CD key, download the windows 8 usb/dvd boot drive creation tool. Install windows 8 onto a USB or DVD and begin to run setup on the empty computer. Once you get it fully installed with the CD key you got from earlier, just format the old system's SSD to make iterase windows.
You're done. Just make sure windows says activated. I have done this myself before.
