Help with my friends new pc build

Solution
Well, you're missing a motherboard, which is important. Also a case, and an operating system. I'm not sure if you already have those last 2?

The CPU is not a good deal, it's a last generation and a faster i5-4440 is actually cheaper. Pair it with a good H97 motherboard.

The GPU is not a good deal either, it's a waste of money to have a 4GB 760. For that price, get a GTX 770, (AMD has a much faster R9 290 in that price-range, unless he really can't be convinced.)

PSU is not great quality either, I'll throw a build below, but need to know whether you need a OS and case, the goal of this build (gaming?), and what the resolution of the monitor you'll be connecting to is.

Don't get a 4gb 760. It is really not powerful enough to take advantage of all that vram and a 770 might even have around the same price.
