Upgrading New Video Card Need Help

I got a free old computer made i think in 2009.

Here are the specs:

AMD Phenom 9750 Quade-Core Processor

ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series

400watt Power Source

Mother Board MSI Model:K9N6PGM-VS (MS-73090)

Would this graphics card on amazon work with this computer.

you will be bottlenecking most modern GPUs with a cpu like that. after 5 years if you want to buy current gen it may be best just to build a new system rather than buying last gen or even 2 gen ago model which you will just want to replace anyway in a year or two.

I know its not the newest CPU but im not looking for the best graphics card. I just want an upgraded one because the current one isnt that great.

grab an r9 270x. it is one of the best bang for the buck cards on the market right now other than the GTX 970

"I can now play BF3 on high setting at 720P with 40 FPS." actual review pretty much sums it up. i would say no. like i said before. just get the r9 270x or the 270. those lower end cards are really that bad. Linus explains it in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sph6cjJeRdI
