Solution
You'd have to pay 65 to return? In that case man, eat the 65, put a little more with it and get a good card. That will game better than the 7850k anyway once you get a better card. And that 7850k is still only a quad core as well.
I don't think that was a good deal. The CPU is going to struggle with modern games, and the video card is literally the equivalent of what was out in 2006. The copy of Windows was probably the most expensive component out of everything, by far. Unless you are just planning on using it for a general-purpose machine for office work and the Internet, it will do poorly unless you spend another couple hundred dollar minimum on upgrades, if that's even possible.

I would definitely send it back; even for a low-end machine, you can build your own and do that well or better.

I would return it and make the computer yourself, we can help you out if you haven't made one before and we can help you get the best bang for your buck.
Here is a better $500 computer with OS

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD A10-7850K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($69.98 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($60.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($51.85 @ OutletPC)
Case: Cougar Spike MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($29.99 @ Mwave)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($25.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $468.77
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Upfront it's around $500, but if you can spare the time for MIR, it's around $40 cheaper.

You're going to pay something for their time to put it together and test. But if you want to game, definitely need a better video card. I'm seeing deals on radeon 7850s on ebay, seems like a lot of the completed ones are about 70 bucks. May not be a bad upgrade for cheap if you keep it.

Dear SPEED DEMON,

This seems only slightly better, just the graphics card is the main difference and maybe the cpu. for paying 20 dollars more for mine, and having to pay 65.00 to return the one I already bought, it seems wisest to just buy a better graphics card and stick to what I have..what do you think?
