I feel very much a newb when it comes to building a PC, especially with RAM. I'm having issues with trying to increase the Frequency to 2333MHz from what appear to be default: 1333MHz.

Specs:
Mobo: A88XM-Plus CSM
APU: AMD A8-6600K
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP (2X4GB, 8 GB kit, advertised at DDR3 2333MHz)
Windows 7 OS (64bit)
750W PSU

I've slotted one of each stick in Channel A1 & B1 and the BIOS Reads 8GB with a default of 1333MHz. I attempted to use the BIOS AI Tweaker to adjust Memory Frequency to DDR3-2133MHz and the MemOK! lamp lit up. I pushed the MemOK! button and tried switching to 1866MHz in AI Tweaker, this time the PC failed to boot but the MemOK! button was not lit. I restarted and switched back to Auto (1333MHz), the computer restart but with system repair recommendation.

Additional steps taken:
-Used ASUS AI Suite 3 to look for updated BIOS, but I have most current.
-Also used AI Suite 3 to "Auto Tune," which resulted in 4.4GHz from the APU.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Not sure if your mobo uses DOCP or possibly XMP, look for those in the settings, if there, enable and select 1866 and 'should' be good, else set up manually and ensure DRAM voltage is correct or even + 0.05 higher than spec and give it a try

Thank you for your help! I found DOCP under the AI Overclock Tuner field in The AI Tweaker tab of the BIOS. It adjusted a number of options including DRAM Voltage (from AUTO to 1.5). Was able to boot with a target DRAM speed of 2333MHz and 4.4GHz Target CPU speed.
