4k and 1080p? Please help!

Hello TomsHardware I'm making this post today to ask you about 4k and 1080p and I want to ask if it's possible to use a 4k monitor and a 1080p monitor and have them both at their full resalotion. Thanks for help.

It is possible, but not in games.

Yes I don't want it for things like that, I just wanted to know if it's possible to have a 1080p with a 4k monitor as I'm in big need of a second monitor. Thanks for reply.

So long as your graphics adapter will support 4k you are good.

You will configure each monitors resolution through windows or your graphics card driver. Otherwise, they should both default to their native resolutions.
