please can anyone help !! I've received my new ssd to put in my pc (scandisk 64 GB sata 3) now I have had pc's for along time and if I had a pound for every time I've installed win 7 I think I would be a rich man.
here's the trouble installed new ssd into bay connected everything up as I have done loads of times in the past set boot to cd/dvd hit enter win7 loads go to install and first thing it says is cannot install due to hard drive is gpt format or something along those lines
changed ssd form gpt to mbr reformatted gone all through the boot up process but still it will not let me install win 7
please please please someone out there tell me what am i doing wrong I've done this hundreds of times but never this trouble
PS at the moment the hard drive I have running is an ocz 256 gb ssd sata 2 the new one is 64 gb sata 3 the 256 is going in my laptop if I ever get this 64 gb working
