So after reading How To Build A PC decided to attempt my first build, going for a gaming PC, something that can be easily upgraded in the future, while trying to stay close to $1000 without shipping.

Have selected the parts, am looking for feedback, any suggestions, have I missed anything and where I could save some $$.

Already have a Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse.

Personally I'd make a few changes. It's all about the graphics card and these changes will get you up to a gtx 970, a nice jump up from the gtx 770 you are proposing. I downgraded your case to what is still a very high quality one, the enthoo pro. And then I downgraded your motherboard to the one I am currently using. You will not have any performance decrease, and again, it allows you to get the gtx 970.

I notice you don't have a HDD listed. Do you already have one? If not, you'll need one, a 128Gb SSD is great for the OS and a couple of games, but you'll want a storage drive for sure. Look at the western digital blue drives, maybe 1T in size.

I was hoping to skip a HDD in the short term, I have an external seagate and 1TB OneDrive, which is mainly used with laptop. Currently this is going to be gaming specific PC and only playing a few games.
