Hey, i want to upgrade my pc and was looking around for a good build. What do u think about this build ?

AMD FX 8320 processor
970 Extreme3 R2.0 mobo
G.Skill Ripjaws-X F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL - DDR3
- 8 GB : 2 x 4 GB - DIMM 240-pins - 2133 MHz / PC3-17000 - CL11 - 1.5 V

On the manufacturers page from the mobo, it says that the mobo supports Dual Channel DDR3 2100(OC). Can the mobo handle this RAM with 2133Mhz ?

FX cpu's do best with low latency 1866mhz.

Pretty sure there is nothing extreme about that motherboard either. Need some suggestions?

thats over 50€ more expensive... its too expensive for me :p

I'm gonna lay this out there. Asrock and MSI do not make "good" AMD motherboards. Oh sure some of them are "ok" but none of them are what i'd consider "good", and while i can live with an MSI or Asrock overclocking a fx6 core or less... when you start talking about the 8 cores you're better off getting an Asus or Gigabyte

Asus M5A97 R2.0
Asus M5A97 Evo R2.0
Asus M5A99x Evo R2.0
Asus M5A99fx Pro R2.0
Asus 990FX Sabertooth Gen 3 R2
Asus Crosshair V Formula
Gigabyte GA970A-UD3
Gigabyte GA990XA-UD3
Gigabyte GA990FXA-UD3
Gigabyte GA990FXA-UD5
Gigabyte GA990FXA-UD7

If you have to go Asrock or MSI i wouldn't get any board but these for an 8 core FX
ASROCK Fatality 990fx
ASROCK 990FX Extreme 4
MSI 990FXA-GD65
MSI 990FXA-GD80

those are all good enough for an FX8 core

Ive read bad things about Gigabyte, are u sure its a good bord ? Also in the reviews on the site wheer im buying, theres only bad reviews...

And its also cheaper then the 970 Extreme3 R2.0...

But what do u think about ASUS M5A97 EVO - 2.0 , or ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ?
