Which is better for gaming on a single 1080p monitor? Aiming to max games out (such as Crysis) at 1080p. Or whichever can get me higher framerates while recording. Also aiming to overclock.

the 9590 is a waste of money the 8320 through to 8370 are better deals and will give the same gaming performance.
the 4790k and gtx 970 will offer a slightly higher fps in most games but may cost a bit more (depending on motherboard selection, ram and so on) but will consume way less power (around 150-200w) so costs less to run
