Logical processor cores back to default

I currently have 3 logical processors and I want 4 logical processors. I know I can have 4 because it was the default but I messed with it and changed it to 3. When I try it to change it back there are only the options to turn it to 1,2, and 3. I have rerolled my settings a day on windows 8 and still it won't go back to 4. I even went to the bios and put it to default settings
