Okay, this is some pretty muddy water as far as I've seen, and I don't think I've seen anyone explain this clearly. What I understand from everything I've seen, the cpu gives you a frame cap and up to that IT DOESN'T MATTER (well you can get like an extra 2fps in most cases). The fx-6300 gives a cap of about 146fps on bf4(using 4/6 cores) (which is known as one of the most cpu intensive games) and that is more than you need for gaming in nvidia active 3d while a single 980 can get up to 90fps in 1080p and ultra settings. So, am I missing something here or are all of the arguments over bottlenecks useless?
