I almost understand what they do. Some send analogue signals, some send digital, or both. some audio like HDMI ( i just a $60 hdmi cable i paid $10 for mine). S-video cable has better synchronized colors while VGA has better resolution. I think composite cables are our of date name, but I could be wrong.

Mt question, can I hook any combination of these up to get an enhaneged effect on my TV or computer? My gpu is a gtx 760 SC.

What confuses me is that dvi-i uses only analogue and dvd-d sends digitalbut together it looks better.. i got my faacts wrong b4, VGA is trash unless u hve an adapter check this out about s-video, really wana but this junk lol to test it.

Separate Video, commonly termed S-Video, Super-Video and Y/C, is a signaling standard for standard definition video, typically 480i or 576i. By separating the black-and-white and coloring signals, it achieves better image quality than composite video, but has lower color resolution than component video.
