Why am I getting huge fps drop on battlefield 3

I know it is probably bottleneak but why ?

Specs: Intel core i7 4770k
nvidia geforce gtx 770 titan cooler
8gb ram
Corsair 1000w
asus maximus vi hero

No my case is not the problem my fan on my graphics card is always turned up high and I check the temperature and it is never above 60

How huge is the drop? You cant be bottlenecked, something else is the problem.

it is usually from 60 and drops straight to 20

Get a msi afterburner and start monitoring gpu,cpu usage, temps and clocks. We need to know what happens when fps drop and why.

If you are getting that kind of a drop you have some sort of throttling issue. Which would mean a temperature issue. Whether it is the card itself or the cpu throttling because the vrm's are overheating.

Having two fans on the card doesn't mean anything if the case isn't having that hot air expelled.
