Hi all

Need to upgrade my old PC with 2 GB RAM. Which model will suit my PC. whether this will increase the speed of the PC.

1) Transcend DDR2 2 GB PC RAM (JM800QLU-2G)
DDR2-800/PC-6400
4-4-4 CAS Latency
DIMM Memory Module
240-pin Configuration
2) Transcend DDR2 2 GB PC RAM (JM667QLU-2G): RAM
DDR2-667/PC2-5300
DIMM Memory Module
240-pin Configuration
3, 4, 5 CAS Latency


Intel(R) Pentium Dual CPU
E2180 @2.00 GHZ
2.00 GHZ, 504 MB of RAM
Microsoft windows XP

The max speed of that chip is DDR2-800, But without knowing your motherboard it would be hard to give you a good answer, not all motherboards will support high capacity memory modules or low or high density modules.

Umm It probably will but considering the age of your system I would save the money and start saving for a budget PC. You can get something much, much, better for about 200 USD
