I've made a provisional budget/ upgradable build, this is it so far: CPU Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core £40.00
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing £24.95
Motherboard MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 (Purchased) £60.00
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 £55.00
Case NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower £57.35
Power Supply XFX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V £60.86
Custom GTX 650 (Purchased)
I got the motherboard dirt cheap and hopefully it will be worth it, Is the build alright for just being a light gaming machine? Next year i will be able to afford a i5 and a r9 280. Any suggestions to change i will be open to them, i have a HDD and a OS so that is fine
Thanks

that mobo is good especially if you got it "dirt cheap". i have one with a 4690k and have no issues with it on a modest oc of 4 ghz. i also use the hyper 212 evo and it installs easily on the mobo.

the rest looks right on line with a solid, upgradable build. you will have plenty of psu power to supprt the new cpu and gpu later on no problems. plus as you already know there are plenty of upgrade cpu's in the 1150 line-up.

just do a quick look around before clicking buy just to be sure some last second sale did not pop up. the psu's have been all over the place in price the last few weeks and you might save a few dollars on another quality one like you already have picked. or possibly an i3 sale might show up which would be worth it if...
