My microphone gives an audible buzzing similar to coil whine only while playing games such as counter-strike. I unplugged my microphone completely from my computer and the whine/buzz is still apparent. Any solutions to fixing rather than replacing my $350 gpu or my $80 sound card?

Solution
Yeah the soundcard is picking up noise from the GPU (my GTX have coilwhine on high load).
I have tried 2 different soundcards and get the same problem with them. The onboard audio don't have this issue, except for annoying white noise.

I'm gonna buy a external/USB soundcard just for the microphone and see if there is any difference.

Yes, I can confirm that im using the correct microphone, disabled onboard, my microphone sounds clear in every game that i've played so far except for CS:GO. I know for a fact it's my gpu affecting my sound card, I just don't know if there's anything I can do to stop the interference, I'm curious as to if moving my sound card away from my gpu as many slots as I can will solve (or reduce) the buzzing noise in-game (my headphones are also plugged into the soundcard and aren't affected by any interference)

That's not a very good example but I can slightly hear it. It's worse in games like DayZ and Arma, But all I know about this is that i'm pretty sure it has to do with the coil whine issue in the gtx 9XX series.
