depends on the case. also check the temperatures of the hardware. if you feel it is too high, add the fan. if its not, then you don't have to.

if you have the money and the case supports it go ahead, fans aren't overly expensive.
if it means peace of mind for you that your system will not run into any heat issues, sure then go for it.
