I just did a build, and used a Corsair LS 60G SSD for Windows 7. It's only 65% full, but when running CrystalDiskMark, I get a sequential Write speed of around 60.... I know it was the wrong SSD to buy, but should it be this low? I tried the AS SSD Benchmark tool, and it seems to show much higher ratings but I've read that it's not the best at real life numbers.

I'm about ready to buy a Crusial or Samsung 256 and trash this pos....

CrystalDiskMark and AS-SSD use highly incompressible data to test Read/Write speeds.
Highly incompressible data is the hardest type of data for any SSD to Read/Write.

The advertised 540/450 Read/Write speeds for your SSD are with ATTO benchmark software.

ATTO uses highly compressible data to test Read/Write speeds.
Highly compressible data is the easiest type of data for any SSD to Read/Write.

ATTO tests "Best-case scenario"; CDM & AS-SSD tests "Worst-case scenario".

Retest your SSD with ATTO.

Hey. Guyz.I know this is an old post but I found this ssd for 37euros(40$). Does it worth to buy it for a laptop that I use in trips.(like 10 days every 2 months) mostly for browsing but in few months I will need a little autocad?

Thank you
