I am planning to buy this combination . just worried about the compatibility.

http://www.msi.com/support/mb/H97MG43.html#support-cpu - the mobo
http://ark.intel.com/products/80807/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_40-GHz- the processor

please let me know if the mobo supports the processor . in the msi website the supported CPU list ends at i7-4771, so please help . will it support an 88 W CPU ?

Solution
Yup

Even , if the mobo is new and has the latest BIOS , there wouldnt be need of BIOS update.

Btw, look down the list of CPUs ! 4790K is there

0h man .. the thing is . my budget has suddenly gone down , and i will invest more on PSU right now . i will get a better mobo after 5-6 months . till then i dont need overclock . after that i will buy a good mobo and oc. do you get it guyz ? so now . is it a good combination ? I mean will that mobo handle the processor without any problems ? :)

i7 4790K is great . its 17% faster than Xeon 1231 V3 . But why such a beast !? i5 4690 is enough for gaming

that mobo is good .
