I am buying a new CPU. But i need help with the components.

So this year for Christmas I want to buy myself a new processor, but there's a question i need help with.
I Have a really budget motherboard ( Asus m5A78l-mlx3).
So my question is it is 95 watts and so is my processor, i was wondering if the AMD fx 6300 work on my motherboard?
Here are my PC Specs.

Motherboard: Asus:m5A78l-mlx3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7770
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II x3 455 Processor 3.30 Ghz
Power supply: 450 watt bronze certified Corsair Modular power supply.

Try to get at least a GB 970A UD3P, I think that you may have some throttle problems with this mobo

if it was fx 8350 ... it can be an issue , but not with the fx 6300

I would go with an 970 board to avoid all BIOS update problems (780 boards are for AM3 CPUs, you need that CPU for BIOS update)
