hey guys my gtx 660 always overheated and made my pc restart, but now whenever i want to use the pc i get no signal from the monitor. i use a dvi cable on the gpu port so i tried the hdmi on the port and that also didnt work, then i used a vga cable on the motherboard and everything worked fine. is there a way to fix this or is the gpu screwed?
UPDATE: i forgot to mention that all the games that made my gpu overheat and make the pc restart work when using the integrated graphics but with very low fps

overheated parts have a high failure rate. its possible the gtx 660 card is dead. Suggest you see if you have warranty left. Suggest you also try the VGA port on the 660, there are some separate parts between (DVI + HDMI) vs. (VGA) and maybe you get lucky and still have VGA working.

IF you can't get even the BIOS splash panel to appear over DVI/HDMI then it's not software.

Sometime removing and reinstalling a card brings it back to life. Try it, it can't hurt. Remember to unhook the catch at the end of the PCIe slot before you pull up to remove the card.

Do you have another PC to test the card in? It's possible the MB or the PSU has failed and they are keeping the 660 from working. GTX660 pulls a good 50 to 150W, that may...
