help with sli

my question is a rookie one, but i have two graphics card a xfx r7 260x and xfx r7 240. i'm running the r7 260x now and i'm wondering if i can add the r7 240 in an sli set-up? Or do both card have to be the same thanks the rookie

first AMD multi gpu configuration are called crossfire and second you need to have the same card for it to work

They have to be the same core GPU. its called crossfire. and no you can't.

You can only crossfire a 260x with another 260x, 260 or hd7790. AMD uses crossfire and Nvidia uses SLI
