Hey guys, im fairly new to custom built pc but am deciding to have a go a build my first custom built gaming pc. Please excuse my computing terminology as i am fairly new to custom building.
During research of what components Im going to buy i recognized that my PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 630W has only 2 x 6 pin connectors whilst the graphics cards im willing to purchase which is an XFX R9 280 DD 3GB requires a 6pin and 8pin connector. The purchase along with the XFX r9 280 DD 3GB includes something called a 8 pin to 6 pin connector.
-What im confused about is an 8 pin to 6 pin connector different from a 6 pin to 8 pin connector since i need something that will turn my 6 pin wire from my power supply in to an 8 pin for my Graphics card
-And will i run into any issues in terms of power supply for my graphics card becuase of this adapter im using?

Thanks

You should be able to use this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA29716C8626&cm_re=molex_to_pci_express-_-0ZK-00C0-00096-_-Product

And a 6 pin from your PSU. It is not ideal but should work. If SR-71 is reading this your input would be good.
