I'm getting this new pc in about a month and i was wondering how well it would be able to run brand new games such as Far Cry 4, The Witcher 3, etc. I'd like to know how long i can expect it to run new games well before I have to upgrade it, if it's a good build, and just general advice (I really don't know much about computer builds). Thanks!

Yes, the core editions are also great quality, and recommended. 850W is a little more than you'll need, but it won't hurt anything. Even if you want to SLI in the future, it's still a lot. I run 970 SLI with the same CPU you are looking at, and I use a 760W.

If you are wanting to stream at high quality, then yes, an i7 will actually make a difference.

woops forgot to add that. its a Corsair CX600 V2 - 80 PLUS Bronze

That's the only part I'd be concerned about then. Your system is a high end gaming machine, and that is an entry level PSU with some cheap capacitors in it.

I'd recommend looking into the XFX models, either the TS or the XTR. Very high quality, and typically for a very good price.

You could also consider dropping the CPU to an i5 if you are looking to save some money. Today's games don't make use of the extra threads the i7 provides. That said, I went with an i7 myself, well, just because.

okay what about the XFX Core Edition PRO850W ? Also i went for an i7 because i'll most likely stream some games and I was told the i7 would help with that, but if it doesn't make a difference i might replace it with an i5
