Whenever playing any video games I randomly run into a black screen followed by the infamous "Graphics adapter has stopped responding and recovered." This happens about once every hour.

I've ruled out just about everything.

-Updated all drivers.
-Turned power management to high performance
-Turned off power saving on video card.
-Replaced video card with another. (Both have the same problem, prior video card has no problems in another build)
-Ruled out any overheating problems.
-Did the registry hack.
-Re-installed windows 8, several times.
-Flashed Bios
-Made sure nothing is overclocked.
-Tried several different video card drivers.

I also tried doing a memtest, with zero errors. I however still believe it has something to do with my memory. I have four sticks of ram, and unless I've got all four in, in the exact position I have them, the computer doesn't want to boot, but rather gives me a post code of short, constant beeps, then the computer finally reboots, and loops the same post code. (Did some research, code corresponds with a power issue)

Specs:
X99 Gigabyte GA-UD4 motherboard.
Sapphire R280 dual dissipation video-card.
4x 4gb DDR4 ballistix corsair ram.
corsair CX750 power supply
Intel I7 5820k
1x blue cavier 1tb drive
1x green cavier 750gb drive
1x intel SSD 120gb

I don't believe its the power supply unit due to the fact that if I have the memory sticks in a certain way, I'm able to boot and use the computer just fine, aside from the graphics adapter issues.

I also had a small incident where the PC would turn off and restart at random. It seemed like it got worse with every restart and finally it would restart before I could even get a post beep. (This only happened one time and after moving a few plugs around, it never happened again) Despite this incident I don't believe its the power supply due to the fact that it worked perfectly fine in my previous build.

Ah man my mind is all over the place. I'm sure it's either the motherboard, memory, or power supply, but how exactly do I pin-point it for sure?

Solution
I would rule out the power supply, as problems with it more tend to be random shutdowns, of lack of booting,
the fact that it says graphics adapter implies it is perhaps the mother board, as that could very well explain the ram issues as well. I feel that a RAM issue would not cause errors similar to what you have. Your best bet is to call up gigabyte and ask about potential issues, after all, X99 is still quite new.
the only other source of these issues could be the graphics card, in which I would recommend swapping out the current one for any others you may have laying around.
I am afraid that phone calls will have to be made to respective corporations. I have heard sapphire has wonderful support, I am unsure as to...

Hope that was of use.
