I5-3570K Stock Temps to high?

Their is an screenshot its higher since the last time i changed thermal paste, the one im using is Antec 6 or 9

Found why, forgot to connect the CPU fan. The temps were getting higher and higher the highest it was 53, was their any damage that could have been done?
