Boot Device LED solid red

When I start my computer, my Boot_Device_LED light is solid red, and my monitor doesn't respond. Please help me.

on the asus mb there two sata 6g ports. the intel that are yellow and the brown acmdia ports. the brown ports are not botable. also check the bios rev of the mb make sure it has the newest bios file.

under sata on the info sheet there two chipsets the intel and 3 party. the 3 party ones are for data drives. they wont boot your windows drive.
