i am running gt610 2gb fine in 300w smps,i was going to get 750 but i found 650ti more powerfull and cheap @ snapdeal so please tell if i can run that or psu upgrade is required????

Solution
the 650 ti uses 110-130 watts which is pushing your 300 w psu beyond the comfort zone and it probably will not work.

with that same psu what you can use is the 750ti. those only use 60 watts and will easily run on 300 watts with the rest of your system. it is made for this purpose and loves low power set-ups like this. worth the extra money to not have to replace your psu.

this one is on that same site and not too much more and it will run on your system as is http://www.flipkart.com/galaxy-nvidia-gtx-750ti-2gb-oc-2-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdtknmn5zz9g9d?pid=GRCDTKNMN5ZZ9G9D&otracker=from-search&srno=t_2&query=gtx+750ti&ref=afdb7ae8-117a-487b-b006-8a169ea5fbc5

I would definitely get a higher wattage PSU. The minimum system power requirement is 400 watts. If you plan on upgrading in the future, I would go with a cheap but name brand 600 watt PSU such as the EVGA 600b.
