So I recently got a new motherboard, and when I opened it I found that the connectors for power were 8 pin rather than the 4 my old one had. My Power Supply was plugged into the old one with a single 4 pin connector, but has another 4 pin attached to the first (2 4 pin connectors attached together), which I had simply tied to the side before. I know I can just use a single 4 Pin in the 8 pin, but am I meant to use two 4 pins? It might seem kinda common sense, but I wanted to make sure I wont fry my brand new MB. Thanks for any help, can provide pictures if needed.
