I have seen some televisions of 32" that have only a resolution of 1336 X 768 .Currently i have a 18.5" Monitor that has also the 1336 X 768 resolution...So if i change display to that tv then will i get the same performance or i have to improove gpu???

Solution
The physical size of the screen doesn't affect performance, only the resolution does. Since they are the same resolution, your performance should be the same.

I should note that sometimes there is a little lag when playing games on a TV. This can be caused by the TV trying to process the image when it doesn't actually need further processing. If your TV doesn't have advanced features like that, then it should perform just like your monitor. If your TV does, you can try setting your TV to a gaming mode if it has that feature.

Here's a link that should explain what I'm talking about: http://www.ign.com/articles/2006/06/13/hdtv-gaming-lag-an-epidemic-exposed
