I own a fx 8350 and been using the asrock 990x extreme 3 mobo for 6 months. My main work is mostly heavy 3d rendering, modeling and also light gaming. Past 2 months Ive been rendering a lot and the board usually heats up a lot when am doing it. Now it seems the atx pin connector is busted, and the computer doesn't boot anymore. I learnt (a little too late) the fx 8350 needs a more durable board which can take on continous days of rendering. Am looking at the asus sabertooth 990fx and the crosshair z, any suggestions are welcome, my main concern is rendering....
