Hey guys! So I would like to build a new PC pretty soon and I have set myself a budget of £400-£500 for a gaming PC (inc. OS).

I have a fair bit of knowledge of the latest PC parts but am by no means an expert so would like to ask some of you guys.

I will be using the PC for gaming 95% of the time with obviously internet browsing and a bit of school work. I have set myself a rule that says, if for example there is a CPU for $125 that is ONLY better than the $110 in video editing, I DONT WANT IT! I would like the PC to be as cheap as possible for what it is meant to do (gaming and casual use) instead of spending unnecessary money!!! I know they are, or were close contenders. Parts like the AMD FX8350 and the Intel Core i5 4460. They are around about the same price but I have heard that the 4460 is better for gaming but the 8350 better for video editing. If so then, if the 4460 is cheaper then I would like that but if it is more expensive, is it worth the extra money for the GAMING performance? It needs to be good bang for the buck for GAMING purposes!!!

I would like it to run Minecraft at near amazing fps and more demanding games such as battlefield at pretty high FPS!!!

Any help will be highly appreciated by myself!

Thanks :)

Are all the R9 270x's the same? Because the Sapphire is the cheapest but by a review I have just seen the Gigabyte one is AWESOME! Will the Sapphire one do the same?
