I turn my computer on and I hear fans and the lights are on but the screen stays black it still takes a few seconds of holding the power button before turning of so how do I get the screen to work again I cant do a ything in the menu at all the screen stays black no matter what

Make sure the power cord and video cord are properly connected. If not working than make sure the video card has its power cabling attached to it (only if you are using an external pci-e video card). Do you hear a post beep?
