Hi

I recently dropped my PC running on windows 8.I turned it on it told went on "trying to repair" mode.Which took for ages.I put windows 7 spi from a cd.

After turning it on for my first use.the first black screen it advised to repair i went to a place were it showed me some system recovery options i opted for the first three correspondingly. The problem after i enter my login credentials .The PC is slow.If i click an app for example notepad it takes ages or does not appear at all.

I need your help.Please Advise

Replace the hard drive and install Windows on it (or Factory Recovery from your backup discs or from backup image which you should have created when the PC was in full working order).

While your at it, ensure that no connections, RAM modules or or other components have been jolted loose -- rectify where necessary but guard against static discharge from your fingers by taking the usual precaution of touching bare metal first.
