First PC build help

Recently I decided I wanted a new PC. Eventually I thought I would make it myself but I have a few doubts/concerns about parts and their compatibility. I'll list the parts I know for sure:
Fx-6300
750ti wind force
8GB Kingston HyperX
1 TB Western Digital Caviar Blue.

I have ideas for the mobo, PSU and case.

So my first question is does the fx-6300 come with thermal paste applied? I heard that's pretty important and I wanna make sure its correct.
Second question ; how easy is managing cable and airflows and plugging the cables into the correct places?
Last question, would it be worth downgrading parts to get a PC with an i5 for around the same £400 price mark? Thanks

1. As far as I know, almost every CPU comes with a stock cooler, and these stock coolers have thermal paste pre-applied.
2. That's a general question; can you post what case you're thinking about?
3. I would suggest going for an i5. I built my computer with an 8350 seven months ago, and now I'm going to upgrade to an i5 4690K. Tom's Hardware recommends the Pentium G3258, which is a bit better than the 6300 for gaming, but I'll see what others think.

The processor doesn't comes with any thermal paste the heatsink has pre applied thermal paste but if you OC the CPU you better get an aftermarket cooler the stock cooler are not capable of handling the heat of OC.

Cable management is quite easy it generally comes with experience more you build the PC the more you will be good at it there are tons of pc building guides in YouTube and you can watch and learn how to do goood cable management there (PC Case plays an important role in good cable management also a modular PSU is good for neat cable management)

The GPU is already mid range any thing lower would make difficult to game even at medium settings so dont downgrade anything FX 6300 is not a bad CPU if you OC it it will give you good results though i will suggest you to get the FX 8320 its not that costly but will give you very good performance.

The case is either betfenix comrade or fractal design core 1000.
So if im not gonna get a i5, an FX-8320 would be better? So is that also the best AMD CPU for gaming?

FX 8320 is just under clocked version of FX 8350 and at low budget its a good substitution for a good gaming CPU.

Get this board instead http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970ads3p and if possible also get an AF cooler .

I have changed a few parts to make the build better .

Yes some 970 chipsets doesn't support vishera Processors but thats just for the old boards but most of the new 970 chipset boards comes with updated BIOS.

Is there any way if telling if it's updated? Because all the PC part picker says is all 970 MIGHT need a BIOS update?

Get this board and you will not have to worry about compatibility issues any more.

An FX-8320 would be the best AMD CPU for gaming for your budget in my opinion.
