Hi,

I have the 850w version of that psu and it is a good solid psu,the main grumble on these units are the fans bearings they run dry and its hard to get a replacement fan for them as they are 135mm but you can buy the bearings online or you can take psu apart and oil them yearly which should stop the problem. With the rebates that a good price.

I read the reviews and looked it up on amazon and they have the 850w version for about the same as they were selling xfx850w version in the summer,it`s gold rated and modular, makes it a no brainer if you can stretch to £94.99

As other's said, seasonic makes the xfx psu's. Most of the name brand companies people are familiar with for other components, antec, xfx, etc are rebadged. They don't make their own psu's.

Here's a fairly comprehensive list of brand names and actual manufacturers. You just have to be diligent in searching it out since some models change manufacturer from one wattage to another in the same line and others a slight difference like g1 or g2 can designate different manufacturers.
