Vertical Bars of doom!

I have no doubt that this has been asked before, but locating it or even comparing to my issue is almost impossible since something always varies and there is never an accompanying picture of the issue to be certain. Anyway:
My card crashes to vertical bars (In the past I have had blue, grey and green, but now they are brown). The issue happened in War Thunder and Battlefield 3 (quite beasts of graphic games) and Dota2 (not beast). Originally changing the drivers 'fixed' the issue, but now they are back. This time while playing RUSE, not a demanding game at all! My second monitor plugged into my mobo VGA port displays as normal.
Linked is a screenshot of what fills my screen suddenly. Sometimes the sounds cuts out after a few seconds or after I press Ctrl, Alt, Del. http://imgur.com/SzR0iwO
I have done memory tests, stress tests on the GPU, CPU, checked my harddrive with the 'chkdsk' command etc and no hits. Please help me with this.

Solution
It's really up to you, no one else can do it for you. I run both an AMD card and Nvidia cards, both so that I can see what the drivers are like and also so that I can get an idea of what they can do in terms of GPU compute by way of F@H.

OK. Now that you added a pic of the situation, it appears to be hdwr related. Do you have another card to try?
If not, remove the discrete card and move the video cable to the on-board port for a test. If all is well using the integrated video, it would appear to be the card that is defective. If the problem persists using integrated, it may be the cable in use, or the board itself.

Back in June i returned the card to where I bought it. They performed rigorous testing and benchmarking to try and replicate the error before sending it for RMA. They were unable to get anywhere, and as such gave it back to me. In the time that they had it, I used the APU's integrated graphics without issue, but then again I couldn't push it very hard being a little APU. I changed drivers and the issue disappeared from BF3 and WT. Now they are back (as i have mentioned they change colour too, probably has to do with the main colour the card was currently putting out at the time).
I do have another card (HD6670 currently sitting in a different PC, but that one has issues of its own when it is stressed which is why i actually purchased the R9 270 I have now). Even if it is just drivers, why is this something that never seems to be fixed or reported by multitudes of other users?

It has been reported and posted about by multitudes of others and they all get told the same as you, to RMA the card. I personally think that 90+ % of the time AMD graphic card problems are driver related and the last year and a half of 7790 ownership has only reinforced that opinion.
