So, I have a little bit of a problem.
A couple of days agow I build my first pc, but when I tried installing windows 8 and plugged it into the monitor, it said "no signal" my motherboard is a Asus M5 A97 R2.0 and it does not have onboard video, so the only option is via the graphics card, a XFX R9 280X, via DVI or HDMI.
Maybe I don't get video because the drivers are not installed, but I can't install them without an operating system (windows8) I tried switching the RAM in another slot, still not the problem, all the power cables are connected.
I hope you can help me, thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

If starting the board with CPU and CPU fan installed, the case speaker would emit some beeps, if the CPU and motherboard do work. If not, no beeps and then you'd know that either board or CPU are defective, so narrowing down from board, CPU, RAM and graphics card to only board and CPU.
