Title basically says it all. Is this a safe temperature to be operating at? This is the highest I have seen it go, when playing BF4 for 30 minutes-1 hour.
On War Thunder, its usually around 50-65 degrees
On Arma 3, its the same. The same with the rest of my games.
I also have a question about my GPU. I have a bit fenix phenom, and it has bad air flow for the GPU. I built my PC 7 months ago, and never plugged in the intake fan because I needed an adapter. I did plug it in 2 weeks ago. I am a bit worried about the life span of my parts. 7 months of running 80-85 degrees under load. (Default Boost 2.0 target temp. Its max is 86, highest I have ever seen it go, on BF4)
I am just wondering, should I be at all, worried about the lifespan of my components/damage???
EDIT: CPU/GPU has never overheated, but I have not updated my motherboard drivers, and I used the disc given to me
The intake fan, only affects HDD temps. It does very little for the rest of my build for some reason. I have been running with only an exhaust fan for months, and I am a bit worried about my components now that I am smacking myself in the head.
