Alright for the past couple weeks When i start up my pc I keep getting the reboot and select proper boot device screen. Sometimes my PC will Boot up just fine but after a few minutes I get a blue screen that says your pc ran into some problems and needs to restart then it goes right back to the reboot and select proper boot device screen.

I have tried replacing the sata cord to the HDD, yesterday I restored everything back to default and re installed windows and that didn't work. Also I have went into the bios multiple times and changed the boot priority so that the HDD is the first thing to boot but every time I get the reboot and select proper boot device screen I restart the pc and go into bios and it is switched back so the optical drive is the first thing to boot. So do I need to just replace the HDD?

here is my build

I just downloaded the WD lifeguard diagnostics and I ran a quick test and it said it passed. Should I run the extended test?

also just ran checkdisk and it said there was no errors.

It seems to only do this when I go into bios and change the HDD to first boot priority. If I leave the optical drive as the first boot priority my pc works fine.

Nope the only thing I have changed is moving the HDD to first boot priority but like I said when I do that then I get the reboot screen and then when I restart and go back into bios it switches the optical drive back into first and sometimes the HDD doesnt even show up. I have tried resetting the bios to default but then when i move the HDD back into first boot priority i get the reboot screen again.
