GPU Not using full potential?

Hey! When ever I play games I have to turn the settings down pretty far and even then get bad fps
With assassins creed Revelations and everything almost minimum settings I get 30-60fps
This is what GPU-Z Shows http://prntscr.com/5jimi1 only 43% usage?...
My card is an XFX R9 280 3gb
my processor is an fx 6100
What's going on?

Check your CPU usage during that.
The 6100 is and old, and relatively weak processor. I would look into a new processor most likely.

Yeah I believe thats it. What CPU Would you recommend me getting? One that would fit good with the 280? Thanks. :)

Would it be worth spending the 20$ more on the 8350? or should I just get the 8320?
