Okay so, this has been going on for a long time and i kinda get it even though i am not too techy with the inside of a computer.
So, 2 months ago, i had a R9 280x and the shop i bought it from told me i cooked it because of my power supply, only being a 525 watt. I'm going to upgrade it after christmas as the shop is too busy to install a new one, unless i could learn to do it myself? is it hard?
but now, i have a r9 290 slotted into a Gigabyte z77x-d3h motherboard and when i play games it just disconnects from the display and leave a black screen, (being no display is plugged in) so i haven't been playing games.
lastnight i shut down my computer, when i booted it up this morning the pc made 3 beeps, like a long beeep then 2 short beep beep. and no display showed.
Any help at all would be great, and if I could learn to install a new power supply from here it would be good too. Just want to know what's going on.
Thanks to everyone :)

Okay, I will upgrade it straight away, to a 750 watt power supply, (https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=612038) do you think that one is okay? the man in the shop recommended it, and i will get him to check my pc to see if it's okay right?

So do you know about my motherboard with the 3 beeps or may i have broken it? D:
