Crosshair V Formula-Z - Corsair Dominator Platinum compatible?

Solution
It should, Crosshair V is a top of the line mobo. However may i ask why get the more expensive dominator RAM instead of the cheaper Vengeance Pro?

I know it's mostly redundant, but I recently ordered a new water cooling system (should arrive any day now), and now that I have money for a RAM upgrade I want it to join the WC loop. Mostly an aesthetics reason.

Also, I know the mobo is a fantastic mobo, I just read on the Corsair product page that it's designed for the Intel Ivy Bridge Platform. Didn't know if that was gonna be an issue.

Note: the Crosshair Formula is an AMD mobo - the Ivy Bridge CPUs are Intel they don't work w/ each other at all.

As far as the DRAM goes goes, yes it will run fine on the Crosshair - just did some testing on mine with a few 32GB sets of 2400 sticks and all was good, primary factor is if your individual CPU can handle the freq/data rate
