get the i3-4130 its newer and faster by quite a bit. also you can upgrade it later to an i5 or i7
it also consumes less power and uses a new lga 1150 socket.

If both i5-760 and i3-4130 are your planned purchases, there is never any real reason (that I can see) to get the older gen chips, especially that far apart. Older gens have physically older chips, and older motherboards so you never know what they have been through.

That being said, 4130 should be close, if not better than 760, considering the CPU hierarchy chart I linked for you in the other thread has 760 one tier below 4160, which is slightly better than 4130.
