Our builder told us our house is prewired for ethernet with cat 5e wires. There are ports in every room but i have no idea how to connect them to the internet. These are the ports https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5S1wRrFbJBjSUw0Z3E3WWxKeU1ORURMeEVtbkFMRktCWm80/view?usp=sharing The main box is in the master bedroom and looks like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5S1wRrFbJBjY0RkTnFCM2xVTjFNX0ZaZnVrRFNwZ0NldFRF/view?usp=sharing Right now we have the modem and router in our office. I am guessing we need to move those to this box. but i don't know how to connect these and do i need anything else like a switch. Here is another picture if its any help https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5S1wRrFbJBjU2dtcWFjN1h4NG9pclRxcWNUZEszbTdVWmdB/view?usp=sharing and here are some of the cables https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5S1wRrFbJBjS3JoVTBSTkRENVR5cTVmT1FSanMzNjhtdjlj/view?usp=sharing Please help.

you need to plug your green cables into a network switch or the router. you could move you modem and router but you don't have to. If you want to leave them where they are just plug a free Ethernet port from the router to the wall jack and put a switch at the box to connect all the cables and you're done.

How do you get you internet (cable or dsl or?). From what I can see, the greens are the separate runs to the cat5 side of the wall panel. The whites are cable TV types that go to the other port on each plate. The blue and one green in the last pic are your telephone. There is a yet to be use interface for the cable TV under the hooked up telephone section. Sooo it depends on your type of ISP service what to do next. Or you could save yourself all the hassle and have your ISP/TV provider send a Tech. to hook you up. It will cost some but in the end it will work and you will have someone to call if there are issues.
